Familiarization

10

What is the PSCM? • The Pacific Senior Communicators Meeting (PSCM) is an annual gathering of the senior military communication professionals from each of the PE participant nations • The PSCM serves a two-fold purpose – Provide a venue to discuss and address Asia-Pacific strategic and operational C4 matters in a multinational forum – Serve as a MCIP senior steering committee that provides guidance on the objectives and concept for the upcoming year’s MCIP cycle and PACIFIC ENDEAVOR capstone event

11

The PSCM and PE • Benefits of scheduling the PSCM in concert with PE – Enables senior communicators to witness PE and provide guidance for the following year’s PE operational concept – Affords senior communicators access to experts from International Organizations, NGOs, academia and industry – Exposes senior communicators to emerging technologies from industry and enables them to guide future systems development by relaying challenges and strategic context
