The Task: You are required to present a 2-3minute oral presentation on a significant person, place or event from Ancient Greece. This oral presentation can be done via 3 ways A) In class speech B) Speech recorded as a .wav file on C.D or USB C) Speech with images on Windows movie maker, Power Point, Prezi or any Web 2 tool ***

You will be required to submit a transcript of your speech including the bibliography on the day of your presentation.

Research your information thoroughly and check with your teacher if there is information you do not understand. In your presentation you need to explain: 1. Who/What the person (no gods) /event/place was. 2. The dates the person was alive, when the event took place or dates when place was built or discovered. 3. What is the significance (importance) of the person/ event/place to the study of Ancient Greece? (How does this tell us/add to our knowledge about Ancient Greece) 4. Make specific reference to source evidence. (Are there any primary sources about your topic, include them and talk about them in your speech) 5. Anything other interesting and relevant information you may wish to mention You must also hand in a bibliography of the sources that you have used. (At least 3-5) – 2 marks
