•All cities and municipalities shall be assessed to gauge their level of performance insofar as implementing programs and instituting measures to uplift the welfare status of children.

LGUs with the Seal of Child Friendly Local Governance will be qualified for an incentive and award system being handled national government which is the Presidential Award for Child Friendly Municipalities and Cities.

Initiated by the CWC pursuant to Executive Order No. 184 entitled “Establishing the Presidential Award for the ChildFriendly Municipalities and Cities” issued on December 13, 1999.
