Goals 

Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of DNA and its relationship to heredity, the cell-division cycle & protein synthesis.

Objectives SWBT: Describe the structure, organization and function of DNA.  SWBT: Describe what a genetic mutation is and the differences between substitutions, insertions and deletions.  SWBT: Explain how & when the replication process takes place. 
