INTEGRATION WITH MAS 500 • Direct Integration with mas500_app database – All inquiry data displayed on the web site is retrieved live from the MAS 500 database via web services – The submit of an order is live into MAS 500 via web services – Pricing of items is done using the business rules defined in the Inventory and Sales Order modules

• No existing database objects are altered • Database objects loaded into mas500_app database with _RKL suffix • Requires one MAS 500 user to run web services layer

CONFIGURATION FEATURES • User Types:  Customer – associated with MAS 500 Cust ID  Salesperson – associated with MAS 500 Salesperson ID  Other - associated with Security Group only which allows full access to all customers (CSR’s, etc.)

Features and functionality are configurable by Company ID in MAS 500 as well as by Security Group

SALES ORDER ENTRY CAPABILITIES • MAS 500 Customers – ability to limit ship to addresses by user login to website • MAS 500 Salespeople – supports full sales team capabilities. Not limited to Primary Salesperson functionality • Back Office – CSR’s, Remote Locations, Order entry clerks • Business to Consumer – create new customer on hold

BUSINESS TO CONSUMER (B2C) SUPPORT • Provides support for B2C in two ways. – eBusiness Suite for Sage ERP MAS 500 includes a “lite” B2C interface that allows for entry of a cart and creation of a MAS 500 customer that must be credit approved prior to shipping. These pages can be enhanced based on your B2C needs. – Web Services for Sage ERP MAS 500 which are included in eBusiness Suite can be used to connect a custom B2C interface to MAS 500

TECHNICAL INFORMATION • Developed in Visual Studio 2008  .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 is required  No 3rd party tools

• Consists of 3 components  eBusiness Suite for Sage ERP MAS 500 UI - (ASP.NET)  Web Services for Sage ERP MAS 500 (VB.NET and C## .NET)  SQL objects in standard MAS 500 database

• Requires Internet Information Services (6.0 or 7.0) to host eBusiness Suite for Sage ERP MAS 500 and Web Services for Sage ERP MAS 500.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION • Supported on Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 • Supported on 64 bit machines running as 32 bit application (Support as 64 bit application anticipated in late spring 2011) • Support for SQL server 2005, SQL server 2008, SQL Server 2008 R2

TECHNICAL RECOMMENDATIONS • Highly recommend deploying the web services and user interface (IIS) on a separate Server from the Sage MAS 500 database server  NOTE: The eBusiness Suite for Sage ERP MAS 500 User Interface and Web Services for Sage ERP MAS 500 can be deployed on separate servers as well.

• Highly recommend use of SSL certificate on eBusiness Suite for Sage ERP MAS 500 server
