A Pre-nuptial Agreement, also referred to as simply Pre-nup, is a written document where both parties agree what happens to their assets in case of divorce. A pre-nup is not legally binding until both parties sign it. If one party does not sign, then he or she cannot take any action against the other party if that person breaks his or her end of the bargain.
