Assessment Activities Have students complete a flip book about the life and contributions of each historic figure. Create a Bio Cube to summarize each historic figure. Complete a Biography Poem about each historic figure. See attached template. Keep an anchor chart to summarize the contributions, everyday life, Georgia location, travel, impact of travel, and citizenship traits of each historic figure. Students should know:  that many people do things that improve life for other people. During the 2nd grading period: the contributions made by James Oglethorpe, Tomochichi, Mary Musgrove, and Sequoyah. During the 3rd grading period: the contributions made by Jackie Robinson and Martin Luther King, Jr. During the 4th grading period: the contributions made by Jimmy Carter.
