Eine Informationsbroschüre Students will create an information guide auf Deutsch for Schleswig-Holstein. Projects will be submitted on poster board or in booklet form. Projects are to be done individually. Rough drafts will be due for review on 26 March. Fällig: 8. Klasse (12. April) Final projects will be due and presented to the class during the 8th class. Plan on giving a short (5 minute) oral presentation in English during the last half of class. Suggested topics Economy:  Natural resources; manufactured goods; important crops; importance of agriculture and industry. Geography:  A map of Schleswig-Holstein showing rivers, lakes, canals, important cities (esp. the Landeshauptstadt), and borders with other Bundesländer and countries.  population: pictures depicting types of housing; dialects Culture:  art, dances, folk music, Trachten for men and women  literature: biography and brief summaries of important works of Thomas Mann and Theodor Storm  history: poster illustrating the history of Schleswig-Holstein.
