• Review chapter business plan, budget, goals and metrics • Register to attend the National Leadership Conference (look for an email with registration information) • Become familiar with the activities and plans of all committees • Appoint new committee members, if needed

• Meet with key players & complete the Chapter Leader Orientation • Check the SCORE On-Site Review (Form 16); Start preparations if review is scheduled for the upcoming fiscal year • Check to make sure the chapter is still meeting the Minimum Standards

Election to Mid-August • Review the chapter’s status with alliance partners; Design expansion plan for the chapter • Review any national changes to forms, processes, or policies by visiting the Volunteer Services page of the Volunteer Center • Start review of the chapter by-laws to ensure they reflect chapter realities; by-laws should be sent with the Form 3 at the end of September
