Hell - KJV Lk. 16:23 ASV “And in Hades he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and seeing Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.”  It should be translated “Hades”

 “Gehenna” - place of eternal punishment  Hades is not the same as Hell

What is Hades ? “The unseen realm of the dead - the receptacle of disembodied spirits” “Hades” - Greek word for Hebrew - “Sheol”  “the unseen”  “Invisible abode of the dead”  “Place of departed spirits”  “The abode of the dead”  “Under-world - world of departed spirits”  “receptacle of disembodied spirits”
