REMEMBER!

Offside= When a player is an area they are not supposed to be. Out of court= When the ball goes out of the court.

You are umpiring this third of the Netball court. You are looking out for footwork and contact.

REMEMBER! Footwork= Players can not move with the ball. They can pivot on their landing foot or if they land two-footed can chose a pivot foot. Contact= No player may contact an opponent, either deliberately or accidently.

You are umpiring the goal circle of the Netball court. You are looking out for obstruction and holding.

REMEMBER!

Obstruction= if a players’ feet are less than 3 feet away from a player in possession of the ball. Held ball= a player must pass or shoot within 3 seconds
