What is PAT-SPG?

PAT-SPG Written Spelling • Eight normed and graded tests that provide a comprehensive assessment of spelling, both through dictation and written text. • Year 2 – Year 10 • 30 minutes • Group assessment • Results reported on the same scale as the PAT-R Spelling

PAT-SPG Grammar & Punctuation • Seven normed and graded tests set on a common developmental scale for reporting results on each test • Year 3 – Year 10 • 30 minutes • Group assessment

PAT-SPG Allows teachers to set realistic goals and plan effective English programs

How? Collects diagnostic information from student responses Tracks progress from year to year Provides norms to compare your students to the wider Australian sample

Reporting performance Two reports are available:

• Group Report • Individual Student Report ACER test scoring services can be used to score PAT Grammar and Punctuation. A CD in the manual has proforma spreadsheets for each test for recording results. Scale scores, percentile ranks and stanines are automatically calculated from students’ raw scores
