Pay for a New Dentist Dental Officer with less than 2 years Regular Military Compensation: $71,858.23 $3000 (VSP – everyone) $10000(DASP – everyone – yearly contract) Total $84,858.23 annual income

Pay for a Specialist  If dental officer has specialized and completed ADSO – at 6 years pay may be:  MAJ=$99,265.32 Average Regular Military Compensation  $7000 (VSP – everyone)  $12000(DASP – everyone – yearly contract)  $2500 (BSP – board certified specialists only)  $50000 (multi-year retention – specialists only)  Total $170,765.32 annual income
