To that end, we provide documentation services that allow us internal control of both the timeliness and accuracy of the documentation presented to the authorities: Creation of project templates for Packing List, Commercial Invoices, Certificate of Origin, Forwarder’s Cargo Receipt, Proof of Delivery Legalization and/or chamberization of required documents Hand carry International document distribution

Export-Groupage & Consolidation of Cargo ●

Consolidation & Groupage of cargo is permitted only from the public/private container freight station, where OCA has its special bonded facilities

●

Cargo is stored in OCA warehouse till a day prior to cutoff so as to achieve a full container for a particular consignee and port of discharge

●

Cargo is transported to OCA bonded space at the CFS

Groupage & Consolidation of Cargo ●

Immediately after custom clearance, it is tendered for stuffing into containers under our supervision alongwith the authorised surveyors

●

Security guards are posted to guard the cargo at public/private CFS to avoid pilferage/theft of cargo

●

FCL/FCL orders are normally stuffed at the factory of the supplier for which the custom authorities give the approval to the supplier

Groupage & Consolidation of Cargo ●

Upon intimation from the supplier, the container is moved from the shipping line yard to their factory premises, where the same is fumigated, stuffed and sealed under the supervision of customs authorities/central excise inspectors and moved to the port

The export documentation is processed at the custom house and after checking the seals on the container by customs authorities, the same is moved to the port for loading on the planned vessel

Process Flow ●

Upon receipt of export documents, the same are prepared and filed online with the customs

●

Upon receipt of documents being processed and the shipment received in our warehouse, the same is moved for custom examination

●

Details of shipment received are forwarded by mail to the consignee on every Tuesday / Wednesday of the week

●

Upon approval and custom examination, the goods are stuffed order wise in the container under supervision of OCA staff and the nominated surveyors

Process Flow ●

The containers upon stuffing are sealed and moved to the port of loading

●

Upon loading confirmation the Bills of Lading are issued and handed over to the suppliers

●

Master B/Ls are also released upon sailing of the vessel

●

Post advice is mailed to the consignee

●

Invoice, Packing List, FCR and MBLs are couriered to the consignee within 5 days of the vessel sailing

ICD OPERATION ●

Inland Container Depots, otherwise known as ICDs, are dry ports equipped for handling and temporary storage of containerized cargo as well as empties. This means that hinterland customers can receive port services more conveniently closer to their premises. A common user facility with public authority status equipped with fixed installations and offering services for handling and temporary storage of import/export laden and empty containers carried under customs control and with Customs and other agencies competent to clear goods for home use, warehousing, temporary admissions, re-export, temporary storage for onward transit and outright export. Their primary purpose is to allow the benefits of containerization to be realized on the inland transport leg of international cargo movements. To provide the last mile connectivity to Hinterland in India OCA has operation in many ICD.
