Presidential E Star Award 2013 U.S. Secretary of Commerce Rebecca Blank presents President’s E Star Award to Port of Los Angeles Trade Connect Program May 20, 2013, Washington, D.C. The President's "E Star" Award recognizes noteworthy export promotion efforts. Winners of the "E" and "E Star" Award are authorized to fly the blue and white banner, to display the certificate of commendation signed by the Secretary of Commerce on behalf of the President, to wear an "E" lapel pin, and to refer to the award in their advertising.

Quality & Productivity Commission Award 2013 Trade Connect, the Port of Los Angeles’ export education program, received the City of Los Angeles Quality & Productivity Award on November 7, 2013. The honor is the City’s highest award for superior public services and programs.
