Project update… (1) • User Testing was launched on 25 June 2014. • First cycle of User testing in progress until 6 July. • Final fixes & delivery of updated system for the 2nd cycle of User testing expected by 9 July • Security, load and penetration testing to follow User testing • Sign-off for FINAL go-live expected by mid-August.
Project update… (2) Go live: • Plan to close MMS by 28 July for full data migration from MMS to Compass. • Appointment Secretaries & similar roles to go live mid-August • Batches of Areas / Counties / Countries going live from end of August onwards – Essex will go in November.
Project update… (3) • Atlantic DBS (ex-CRB) interface for online processing of DBS from within Compass is complete – final testing ongoing. • ISO 27001 compliant Single Sign-on process for Compass completed – being tested. • Hosting infrastructure has been delivered. Being used for User testing.
Project update… (4) • Recent HQ communications for Compass: – Statement shared on OSM, linked in a blog from Matt Hyde – see link on our site. – Scouting Plus every month – Training/Appointment eNews – Focus+ – Leaflet bagged with June issue of Scouting magazine – Specific email to Appointment/Secretary/Admin role to brief about MMS closing
Project update… (5) • Microsite to help answer all queries around using Compass • Email support in the change over period to support specific roles, to highlight any changes to tasks • Preparing briefs to discuss materials to prepare for informing parents via Leaders, and encourage their use of Compass • Leaflets and posters on the Print Centre. Can be adapted for local use. Don’t forget to use these! • All members should have Compass leaflets from June Scouting magazine (also online at /compass) • New Video launching in Summer

Implementation Plan… (1) • Migration is split in to two parts… – Adult Data migration – Youth Data migration • Currently on MMS • Currently on OSM • Currently on Spreadsheets and fag packets
– ALL data migration from MMS to Compass by end July / early August. – Batch uploads of youth data until the end of the year.
