EXODUS OBJECTIVES • Prevent weapons, component parts of weapons and other controlled commodities from falling into the hands of terrorists or other criminal entities. • Enforce other U.S. Government agency laws, such as the Department of State, Department of Commerce, U.S. Bureau of Census & Office of Foreign Asset Controls. • Process and clear vehicle exports. • Halt encountered illegal HAZMAT exports. • Provide Trade Community Outreach.

When EEI is input into AES, an Internal Transaction Number (ITN) is generated. The ITN format always starts with the letter X. Followed by the date of input YYYY/MM/DD. Ending with a 6 digit control number.
