There are two overarching questions to bear in mind as we work through the changes that took place in Europe during the Industrial Revolution. First, did the industrial revolution improve or worsen the standard of living in Europe? Be mindful of the ways in which industrialization developed, how it spread, and how it changed different peoples’ lives in different ways. Second, how does the Industrial Revolution compare to the previous revolutions we have previously studied?
