How JUPAS works? 1. Each of your selected programmes will give you a “Rating” in accordance with its criteria for selection, given by the participating institutes.

How JUPAS works? 3. The computer system will match (the "iteration process") the order of preference you have assigned to the study programmes of your choice with the position you have been placed in each merit order list of these programmes.

FAQ concerning JUPAS Q) HKDSE results = the only factors that determine if applicants will be accepted? • NO! Other considerations may include: – Performance in interviews / tests, – banding of programme choices, – levels achieved by other applicants in the current year & in the same programme, – and other information provided by applicants in the online application form, etc...

• The assessment weighting for HKDSE subjects varies with programmes. For programmes with HKDSE subjects indicated in the entrance requirements, the required/preferred subjects probably carry more weight.

• For applicants who have fulfilled the minimum entrance requirements, admission scores will be calculated for the selection of applicants. • For students with the same score, reference will be made to other information (eg. Scoring system OUHK: • To be eligible to apply for admission to Bachelor of Nursing with Honours in General/Mental Health Care programme, the elective subject should preferably be a science subject, i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Combined Science or Integrated Science.
