Personnel Groups  Name the groups – Bee, Wasp, Jacket…  Number system – 21, 11, 10…  Who is in charge of signaling and running groups  How to signal it ▪ Word association ▪ Body Clock ▪ 2 Hand Number



Formations  Name the formations – Doubles, Ace, Trips… ▪ Add backfield adjustments – Strong, Weak, Wing…  R & L word formations – River/Lake, Randy/Larry..  Number system – 1, 2, 3, 4…  Signal for formation strength



Motions  Who is motioning – RB, WR, TE…  How are they motioning ▪ Across the ball ▪ In toward the ball ▪ Away from the ball ▪ Into the backfield  Why are they motioning ▪ Motion to assignment



Signal to QB only  QB translates signal into call for all others



Signal to all Skill players  QB translates signal into call for just oline

3 Distinct Tempos Hurry Up / Indy – Snap within first 5 seconds of play clock  May limit your personnel groups, formations, motions

Peek Tempo Cadence    
