WHAT WE HAVE DONE /continued/ 158 companies signed on PACI and 118 of them developed Anticorruption Action plan Provided “Confirmation certificate” to companies which implemented AntiCorruption Action plan

WHAT WE HAVE DONE /continued/  As one important criteria to rank “TOP-150 companies

of Mongolia” has developed their commitment and results against corruption

Implemented “Corruption free campaign” among Mongolian companies and awarded New Juulchin Tour Co., Ltd., Bars group to appreciate their leadership and commitment in fight against corruption

“PACI-Mongolia Anti-Corruption Award”

WHAT WE HAVE DONE /continued/ Organized special plenary on “PPP against corruption” during the Mongolian Economic Forum

WHAT WE HAVE DONE/continued/  Developed and implementing Anti-Corruption action plan

of MNCCI  Conducted following surveys which has focused on corruption and bureaucracy:  Red tape perception index  Business confidence index  Business environmental index

 Developing to establish RMDI Mongolia Network /26

companies signed/  Annually organized CEO Summit which discussed among other topics specially on Corruption in Mongolia  Publishing Corruption Handbook which include all Anticorruption Action plan of Mongolian companies which signed on PACI

WHAT WE PLAN TO DO For PACI-Mongolia Network:  To develop Anti-corruption Action plan /all PACI signatories/  To improve the number of PACI signatories  To publish quarterly E-newsletter by PACI Mongolia network in collaboration with Transparency International Mongolia  To organize trainings to members /PACI signatories/  To improve CSR and Global Compact Initiatives of PACI signatories  To open PACI-Mongolia Network website  To organize regular meeting PACI Board members and signatories  To make regular PR activities to public and media  To sign MoU with all Ministries on improving anti-corruption initiatives

WHAT WE PLAN TO DO For nationwide Anti-corruption initiatives:  To develop a new Anti-corruption law draft which will be changed some paragraphs of current law  To organize “National PPP Forum on Anti-corruption”  To organize trainings or workshops on Anti-corruption initiatives and efforts to public officers  To improve business environment /reducing licenses and permissions which are fundamentals to corruption/  To develop National Anti-corruption Report  To improve monitoring public budget developing and implementation and Government Anti-corruption activities  To establish RMDI Mongolia Network  To share PACI-Mongolia experience to other countries and regions such as CACCI /Asia-Pacific Region/

What’s our experience and lesson  Business driven initiatives against corruption can help

to improve whole business environment, particularly bureaucracy in public sector  Common voice and activity of the private sector can build powerful barrier to stop and reduce corruption  PPP on Anti-corruption will help to establish sustainable and effective mechanism against corruption  Lessons from Mongolian businesses on anticorruption will help other developing countries to fight against corruption not only in particular country, but also in whole region and areas
