REA = Teachers Union Educators united to improve the learning experience for students and teachers

REA No government money is used to support the REA

Our money comes from member dues

REA Out of the dues collected every month:

25% goes to the National Education Association (NEA) 50% goes to Education Minnesota 25% stays here in Rochester with us (REA)

REA Out of the 25% of your dues that stay in Rochester, we can provide: 1. A Full-Time release President to work for us 2. Professional development

3. Donations to student-worthy causes 4. Participation in local and statewide lobbying 5. Funding to send teachers to state and national

conventions
